As can be seen in the images below, some towbar fitting kits come with a bolt/bolts tack welded to a length of wire. The wire is to allow the positioning of the the bolt into the required space when access into that space is too small or awkward. Using the wire the bolt can be easily moved into position and then tightened as per instructions.
To use the wire tacked bolt, straighten the wire (take care not to break the wire) so that it can be manipulated along the chassis runner/enclosed opening, enabling the bolt to be located through the correct hole. Once inserted in the hole tighten as per instructions.
Image 1 shows the straightened wire during towbar fitment. Image 2 shows an example of how the wire tacked bolt comes in the kit and how it should be straightened out ready for installation.

We are located in Queensland and delivery to all states is very quick , within 2 to 3 days and Perth and Tasmania about 5 working days.
Will fitting your Towbar kit void my new car warranty?
No all of our kits are made to suit each car and will not interfere will your new car warranty.
